Bought one of these for my 11 year old Son's birthday and it was brilliant. He drove a Hurrican and a 570S around Three Sisters in Wigan.

I was quite amazed at how easy they were on the kids letting them do as much as possible. The instructors had a brake pedal naturally but they were letting them pull out of the pits surrounded by cars having never drove anything before naturally. He managed to get up to 70mph on the back straight, which considering it's a very small track was pretty exciting for him as you can imagine.

Available for 10-17 year olds with a minimum height of 4' 10", which is quite tall for a 10year old! My son was just under that but they didn't really check.

The headline price is a bit misleading as ever with these things, base cars are a 370z etc so you pay extra for the "premium" cars. Think it cost about £170 in total including a sighting lap and insurance etc.

Definitely recommend it, hard to buy for kids these days as Playstations and Phones dominate so much!

Interesting - We promised our 10 year old daughter we would do one of the young driver ones we have nearby which is a seat ibiza i believe! Didn't even realise they did supercar ones!

Think she would struggle to qualify for the height for the time being but worth remembering for when shes a bit older!

I did one a few weeks ago with my son (14) and step son (19) at Blyton Park.
Very well organised and had a great experience. Instructors were great and did let you push and tried to get the best from you

Yer I'd never seen these either nor any of my friends, my wife just spotted it on Wowcher.

As ever getting a date for the correct track with the correct cars was a bit of a challenge but we got lucky. His birthday was at the end of July and our closest track with the cars he wanted was the 30th August. Was cracking weather for him too.

They do pictures and videos packages too (obviously!) To get all professional shots and the video which had both front and driver mounted cams combined it was £49 extra, so steep but its hard to get decent shots yourself and something he'll keep for a long time.
As I was hanging around in the pits with him I could only really see him get in and out of the cars (and got some good pictures of him doing that. My Wife and his Grandad where positioned on one of the corners for a better view.
