PST - can't remember password

I work in Technical Support, someone has logged a call saying they have forgotten their password to their PST which is roughly 1.9gb.

I have some old crusty brute force thing which doesn't seem to work any more.

Are there free bits of software which will "crack" this PST for the user or am I just going to have to tell him unlucky kind of thing?

if he's on a version lower than 2k3 you can strip out the password using pst19upg, if he's 2k3 or greater, laugh at him.

Ok spoke to him and he is possibly happy to pay for one.

Is there any good legit ones out there? When you google it you have so many claiming to work but don't want to say to get one if it won't work.

Google "pstpassword" 1st link is a good tool I've used, your antivirus will kick up some fuss though. Worked for me.
