Rig will be running a oc'ed 3570k @4.5, 16GB ram, 500gb ssd and a gtx980ti all on a asus v gene not planning on adding anymore hardware. What wattage should I be looking at?

A decent 550w-650w psu would be more than enough for that (550w is more than enough for most single gpu systems). Any of these will be suitable:-

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £290.52
(includes shipping: £12.60)

The EVGA Supernova GS is gold rated, fully modular and built by Seasonic, has a hybrid fan mode where you can switch the fan to ECO mode and it only comes on at a certain load/temp. It has a 5 year warranty.
The EVGA Supernova G2 is gold rated, fully modular and built by Superflower and also has a hybrid fan mode. It has a 7 year warranty
The two Antec's are hard wired and built by Seasonic and have a 5 year warranty.

The supernova g2 seems good deal but won't work in my sff case as the power supply has a internal plug cable and only work when the plug is horizontal :(

Really want a modular psu so have fewer unwanted cables.

The EVGA Supernova GS 550w then. It has the psu socket the way around that you need it plus at only 150mm deep is nice and compact which will make cable management easier. If you want a bit more headroom then get the 650w version. It's out of stock here but I just did a quick look around and it's in stock at several other places.
