PSU advice please guys.

My kid brothers PSU needs replacing, budget is around £80. His system specs are Intel Quad Core with an ATi 4670.

I have short listed the following:

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V 610W Power Supply

Tagan PipeRock TG500-BZ 500w Modular BZ Series PSU

Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU

What do you guys advise? thanks for the help guys

Cannot go wrong with a corsair.

EDIT: I paid that just over a week ago for the 750W as it was in this week only, it is very good but lots of cables as not modular.

PC Power & Cooling Silencer = very powerful psu with long cables NL rma

Tagan PipeRock = Modular with uk rma

Corsair TX 650W = quiet with pretty packaging NL rma

If his case is a decent one with a cable compartment it wont really matter whether or not the PSU is modular or not (as you can just tuck away the unused ones), so get non as its better value, but if his case doesnt then a modular PSU would be better so as not to have loads of cables obstructing any airflow

Corsair TX 650W no contest imho!

The 5-Year warranty and 100,000MTBF would be the deal clincher for me tbh.

Thanks a lot guys, I went with the Corsair TX 750W, I think its a better buy for an additional £6.25

Good choice, the extra 2 year warranty itself is worth the extra £6 imo, not to mention the superb build quality and amazin MTBF.

Good choice with the Corsair although I've read the PC Power & Cooling is an outstanding PSU.
