Im doing some upgrading at the moment and i am wondering what powersupply to get.

My current one is some 500 w no name rubbish. I didnt mind at the time i got my computer, but im adding a lot and it gets rather hot. The parts I will be keeping are

4 gig OCZ platinum
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
q6600 @ stock
Sammy DVD burner
2 x 120mm fans (front and bacl)
80mm fan (side)
occasionally a external usb hd 250gig (not that important i know..)
250 gig sata hd

what im adding is
ATI 4870 1 gig
2 x 1 tb HD's
1 640 gig HD

Now, i dont know much about PSU's, but im guessing that i will need a bigger one to add all that stuff. Can i get some advice with what brand and what size i should get? I am looking to spend about 100 - 150 quid, but I want to get something decent.

Thanks in advance all.

or the corsair

HX520, HX620 or TX650 depending on what other upgrades you have in mind, ie crossfire, dual GPU card or if you want modular or not

cheers all thanks for the advice, ill probably go for the corsair 650. So I will have more choice when i upgrade the other parts.

Go for a BeQuiet, Zalman or Coolermaster.

Ah kk, well ill be sure to check them out. I want to get a decent one so, i dont have to change for a further upgrade.

Edit: If there is a powersupply, that i could use in South Korea that would be great too, do any of the psu's above have active power factor correction?

I believe active PFC is a legal requirment in Europe (But not the US). Double check the manufacturers website for your chosen PSU to be sure though.
