Building a new i7 system and I dont think my current 600W seasonic will cut it =( (always feels a bit galling having to buy PSUs!) - will be running 2 6970's in crossfire.
Anyhow - if my PSU assumption is correct I need to upgrade to something that is presumably 850W or more. As I can't go seasonic any more - I notice Corsair seem to get a lot of praise? Coolermaster PSUs seem a lot cheaper - are they any good?
Should I go with a 1k PSU or will 850 be fine and future proof? Is corsair worth the premium over a coolermaster? Is there other PSUs I should consider?

Edit - oh and I'd like it modular so no cables everywhere =)
