Hi All,
A recent acquisition, a second XFX5870, is causing concern. The card runs fine but my PSU is complaining I think. I have an Enermax Infiniti 720w PSU which only has 3 x 12v rails rated at 30A/28A/28A. The 30A rail is shared between Mobo, CPU and GFX, whilst the second and third are fopr PCIe and the HDD's etc. Because I need four 12v feeds to the pair of cards the one rail that feeds the CPU as well is suspect, as in underpowered. I believe this as I cannot finish a 3Dmark test without a BSOD and I get the opdd glitch when gaming. My plan is to ditch the Enermax and buy either a XFX 850w Black Ed, a Corsair HX1050 or an OCZ ZX1000w. I would just like someone who has been here before, to agree or disagree to my thoughts and plan. My cards are clocked at 900/1300 and my E8600 @ 4GHz. Thanks
