PSU advice plz

You would really want a tier one 1000w, or for more piece of mind a 1200w system in my opinion.

You're looking at up to 375w per card at the maximum load, so that doubled is 750w alone.
Add in the rest of your components and surely you have to be looking at 1kw for safety.

No. 375w per card?! A 980ti consumes around 250w at load, even the overclocked versions just touch 300w. And you really wouldn't need 1000w let alone 1200w

For a 980ti SLI setup you're looking at a good quality 850w supply.

Yup, great choice.

You could get the XFX 1050w for £15 cheaper. It's made by Seasonic so should be reliable. Personally I prefer Superflower units for no logical reason other than they've never let me down over the years.

Right then...

Your first link shows a particular brand of 980ti, heavily overclocked, so is not valid. The same link shows a 'typical' 980ti as drawing 277w.

Your second link from Anandtech shows total system draw, not the GPU alone. Again, this doesn't support your view, only proves it wrong.

Your third link shows another atypical 980ti..do I need to carry on?

OP - That power supply is a good one and should you choose to buy 2 of the 980tis mentioned in the reviews posted by CorrodedTemplar above, you'll be fine.
