PSU advice required please

I have been an avid AMD fan for years now, but i have been told that crossing the Intel threshhold could be the best thing i can do.

So Ive decided to try Intel and will be gettin a 6600 duo thing along with a Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 motherboard.

I have no idea when it comes to power supply units, and would really appriciate some help in selecting one.

I have been told many times that just because a unit says it will do say 500watts it isnt always true. Things like this worry me cause obviously i dont wanna be ripped off

Seasonic, FSP Sparkle or Enermax i would recomend and unless you overclock or have a lot of hardware anything over 500w is a waste
