Okay, bit confused as to what would be best for me, so any help would be much appreciated....

I am going to get the Antec P180 Advanced Super Midi Tower Case shortly and want to get a decent PSU with it as well. My current rig is as follows:

AMD Athlon XP 3000+
Asus A7Nx8-x (or something like that)
1GB Ram (2x512)
Gainward GForce 7800GS Bliss AGP (20 Pipe version)
3 ATA 133 HD
DVD Drive
Q-TEC 450 WATT PSU (this has been giving me the problems.....)

Now, my question is..... I am after a PSU that will happily power all above components and have a decent number of Molex connectors and a stable voltage for the Graphics card.... Modular PSU would be good and one that will be still useful for when I upgrade my whole rig in the next year or so.....

Looking to pay 50 - 60 quid....

Any tips?

Many thanks in advance....

Seasonic S12 500W Silent ATX2.2 Power Supply (CA-001-SS) is worth it

but are you price range the Seasonic S12 430W Silent ATX2.2 Power Supply (CA-000-SS)

Enermax 500w Liberty.

It has 2 molex per cable, I only need 3 cables to power these

3 HD
2 Optical
Graphic card ATI 800 XTPE
Floppy

and i have an Intel 3.2Ghz, draws more power than the AMD.

My Gainward card currently uses a PCI-Molex adapter to get the power to the card.... I presume I can use the PCI Express power cord from either of these PSU's to power it? Releasing more Molexes for Fans HDs etc?

Thanks for your prompt replies!!!

Yup, good PSU, affordable, quiet, modular and fine for a gaming rig. £12 cheaper than the Seasonic as well. I would only pay the extra for the Seasonics if building a HTPC.
