Hi guys,

Im currently running a 600w Dual Engine Tagan but Im after something of a modular nature, now bearing in mind my specs are currently on the increase. I currently have running

Gigabyte DQ6 Board
Intel Core2Extreme E6850 (Clocked to 3.33ghz)
2gb Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC-3400 C4
BFG GeForce 8800 GTX (Clocked to 620/1000)
2x WD Raptors in RAID
2x DVD-RW SATA Drives
1x Seagate 500gb
1x Seagate 120gb
3x 120mm Fans
1x 90mm Fan
1x 320mm Fan
Tuniq Tower 120
USB Phone Lead
USB MP3 Lead

What modular PSU would you suggest considering that I plan to upgrade to water cooling within the next 2 months ...

Thanks
Mike

I would have thought your current 600W would be enough. I might be worth investigating what the current draw is on your system. I think you'd be surprised. Do you need the 120GB HDD and two DVD drives?

However, If i was going for something a bit more powerful i'd go for this.

Enermax Infiniti

Hi,

Im not so much on about more powerful but rather I need to go for a modula PSU as I have far too many cables coming from my tagan currently. Any recommendations on a PSU of 600w or above that is modular of design? would a 620w Corsair unit work and power water cooling too?

Thanks
Mike
