Well my PC chose a great time to die. It just turned itself off and wouldn't come back on again. After trying a new power lead I got a lovely big bang and a spark :)

So, at the moment I've got a really old 550 watt Enermax hooked up which is working as a temp measure but I need a new PSU to power this heap:

Q6600 @ 3.3GHz
4GB RAM
Asus P5E
5 hard drives
2 DVD writers
8800 GTX
X-Fi

That's pretty much it. Old PSU was an Enermax 620 watt which was previously great, never had a hint of trouble with it until now and it was about 2 years old.

I was looking at the OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w - money isn't really such a concern, although I really don't need anything more than 700w so that should keep it at a sensible cost. Anyone got any comments on the OCZ or maybe any better suggestions?

Full load peak draw (98% impossible in games) of that config is around 350W assuming sensible level of overvolting.

OCZ has many mediocre units, they're more interested of bling than high quality.
If you want 700W model then get Seasonic M12, high quality and no artificial current limitations in 12V output.
