Well my PC chose a great time to die. It just turned itself off and wouldn't come back on again. After trying a new power lead I got a lovely big bang and a spark
So, at the moment I've got a really old 550 watt Enermax hooked up which is working as a temp measure but I need a new PSU to power this heap:
Q6600 @ 3.3GHz
4GB RAM
Asus P5E
5 hard drives
2 DVD writers
8800 GTX
X-Fi
That's pretty much it. Old PSU was an Enermax 620 watt which was previously great, never had a hint of trouble with it until now and it was about 2 years old.
I was looking at the OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w - money isn't really such a concern, although I really don't need anything more than 700w so that should keep it at a sensible cost. Anyone got any comments on the OCZ or maybe any better suggestions?
