PSU Advice

Hi All,

I have ordered the following bundle

*OVERCLOCKED* AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz @ 3.60GHz / Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P Motherboard / OCZ Platinum AMD Edition 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600C7 Bundle

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I will be adding 2 SATA hard drives to this, no additional PCI Cards and a DVDRW.

Anyone give me a bit of advice if my current (6 month old) 580W PSU will be enough.

Which psu is it exactly? A good one will be fine, a £20 one probably not.

Look at amps available on the 12V line on the psu, and compare to what the graphics card needs to get a reasonable idea.
