PSU advice

I'm after a bit of advice, looking at purchasing a 980 Ti for my build and to try a bit of gaming, originally wasn't going to bother and that's why I only got a Evga G2 550w. So was wondering will this suffice for a while, everything is stock I7 6700k with H100i GTX.

That PSU should power a single 980Ti no problem.

A good quality 550w psu such as yours is more than enough for most single gpu setups plus still allowing overclocking. Even with overclocking I doubt if you would get anywhere near 400w at the wall.

With my 4820K OC'd and GTX780 OC'd I easily push past 400w at the wall in stuff like BF4 dunno how the 6700K/980Ti would do though.
