Hi Guys,
I currently have a 8800GT, Intel Quad Core 6000, 4GB RAM on a Asus P5N-T Deluxe Motherboard. I have 550w PSU powering my setup at the moment.
I have just ordered a new Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 1GB GDDR5 OC Edition Dual DVI HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card. Now, one of the comments I saw from a guy that bought that Graphics Card stated that I could leave it plugged in, put the new Graphics Card in and use the old one as a dedicated physics card - I wouldn't even need to SLI it up, apparently it will just work after some set up in the Nvidia control panel. This would have course mean that my PSU wouldn't have enough juice to power the new set up.
So... my first question is, is this guy right? And assuming he is I will want to take advantage of this and get a new, beefier PSU. So which PSU would you recommend that would run both Graphics Cards (and a couple of HDD's and a soundblaster SFX card).
Thanks a million in advance guys.
EDIT:
Should have said budget is ideally around (or under) £45 - £50
