I have the following power supply

Questions:

If I was considering a 4080 would this be sufficient as its a 'older' PSU
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a 'aftermarket' cable for the 4080 and this PSU (thinking cablemods as I already have custom cables from them in my case).

Cheers

It should be, some of the older Seasonic PSUs (I think, pre-2018) didn't like the behaviour of modern cards and they would shut down under load, but you've got loads of spare capacity there, so it should be fine. Alternatively if you went for the new AMD cards, they're not using a 12 pin so your PSU won't need any adapters.

Another point is the 4080 is actually very power efficient, the transient spikes compared to the 3000 series is much more tamer. Assuming it's the system in your sig if it can handle a 3080 it'll easily cope with the 4080.
