Psu and case dumb question

I have a Corsair 550d case and a ocz psu which way should the fan hit the case?

Is it fan up Pointing into the case so the fan blows inside.

Fan down so it is blowing the fan down outside the case.

Most defiantly a dumb question but got to ask.

Edit: the psu sits at the bottom of this case if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Psu fans draw air through the fan into the psu it's self and out the back.

Have the psu facing down so it can draw fresh air in.

Are there grooves cut into the floor of the case where the psu will sit. The psu fan is an intake fan, air is drawn into the unit and expelled out the vents at the back of it. If so, mount it with the fan downwards, this has the advantage of also keeping the 24 pin atx cable closer to the mobo tray, therefore helping with cable management.

It seems as though the case is designed so that the psu fits either way. I will take your advise and have the fan down so the fan sits at the bottom of the case sucking air in.

Thanks both
