PSU and case?

Hi, planning a build atm with an i3 2100, micro atx mobo and case, and plan eventually on putting in an ati 6850 or similar.

There is currently some antec psu's and cases on offer:

antec 380W earthwatts PSU - 80mm fan
£32.39

400W Antec High Current Gamer - 135mm Fan
£39.59

Antec NSK-3480 Micro ATX Tower Case WITH 380W EarthWatts - 120mm + 2x 92mm case fans
£72

If I get the PSUs on their own, I'll pair them with a cheap case
1 x 120mm fan at a push, and another 92mm at the rear.
£20

I'm looking for a queit but cheap pc, aa I'd rather not **** away my money on a fancy case.

I was decided on the earthwatts and casecom, but the today offers look good, and with a power hungry GPU, the 20W extra, along with a much bigger fan seems like a good deal for £7 more, although the earthwatts is apparently very quiet anyway.

any advice?

thanks

Not meant to mention competitors so leaving the name is a poor show. You'll need more wattage than that if your going to add a discreet GPU though.

Its a competitor to OCUK.

Have added a suggestion above, but a max budget would help:)

Yeah I realised after i posted, sorry.

My overall budget is around £300, but the graphics card isnt going in straight away, so thats gonna be on top.

I've gotta move these between uni/placement/home every now and then and so looking at small m-atx cases, thanks for the suggestion.

Did some research, and as all my other stuff is pretty lower power, a good quality 380W can handle a discrete card quite easily, and as its not going to be put in straight away, a massive PSU will be overkill for a 65w integrated graphics proccesor.

Yeah, that PSU that comes with the case isnt great, but will do the job, the price is what makes it great.

If its getting moved around frequently I'd go for a decent case because they are more likely to be able to take any knocks. I have a cheap case but would take it up and downstairs any more than i have too.

The 80mm fan in a psu will be louder than a 120mm or 135mm and the closer to rating you get the faster they'll spin to keep everything cool. Investing in a reasonable wattage surplus is never a bad thing because you have more breathing room.

Hadn't even though about it getting knocked moved about!

Well the Coolermaster Elite430 in that bundle is a decent case, its not a thin flimsy one:)

true but its not particularly man portable either. As long as you don't have to carry it far it'll be fine but if your going more than half a mile or up steep hills a handle might be nice. Or there may be some kind of harness for taking towers to lans if you have rope skills you could make a harness then as well.

I wont be doing anything like that, just between homes when i move, and I also just plain want a small case.
