I want to buy a GFX card that I'll be able to SLi a few months down the line and also one that will work with my system. Is the Sapphire 11179-09-20G HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 or are there better deals/choices at the moment. I've got £200 tops for it.

Mobo - Asus p8z68 V Pro :
RAM - 8GB KG-Skill Ripjaw (DDR3, 1600Ghz):
CPU - Intel Sandybridge i5 Quad 3.3Ghz;
GFX - ?????? £150
SC - Asus Xonar D1 7.1 PCI Sound Card
PSU - 800W Corsair Gaming Series; £80
Cooling - Corsair CWCH60 Water Cooler
HD - 320 gig Seagate Bara. 3.5" 72rpm

Can some1 tell me what difference will be with SLi in terms of performance ? I've never really known about it or how much it improves gaming, and don't know what to expect.

Will I need more than 800W? If so whats a good 900W psu choice?

Cheers for any help :)

Make sure it has 2 GB Ram. Buying a 1GB card for a power user would be a mistake.

Depends on the resolution he's playing at. I would go with either a GTX560Ti or a 2GB 6950 which is right at the top end of your budget. You should be able to pick up a fairly good deal on another 6950 when the next genation 7xxx cards are released as people with no doubt be looking to upgrade.

Thanks. My friend is going to give me an old ATI radeon which I think I might use to tide me ove till there's some better deals on GFX cards. The mobo has got some integrated gx too
