PSU and vibration

Hello everybody,

I've just bought a lian li v1100 case and it's very nice. However, my PSU is causing bits of it to resonate and it's driving me up the wall. It's a kind of sine wave type hum sound and I'm 99% sure it's due to the PSU.

The PSU is a corsair 6x0W one so it's not crap.

I was just wondering, has anyone experienced similar problems and does anyone have any solution to this? I don't want to get a new power supply (plus this probably wouldn't fix the problem).

Try and invent some freakish way of sticking sponge everywhere to dampen it

As above. You need to try and dampen thye sound wherever possible.

after much investigating, i found the left side panel to be the culprit. From my vibration 101 classes, i seem to remember adding or removing mass or stiffness should move the resonant frequencies out the way. I'll try and find an antinode
