PSU as exhaust in mini ITX case

Good day all,

I would like your input on this situation.

From older parts I have I am putting together a miniITX build for a friend who has a older PC and is BSOD a lot these days.

The case I have is a Cooler Master Elite 130 which looks like this for those that have not seen it:

Now I have a kraken 120mm AIO on a push / pull config at the front of the case drawing in air and also cooling the CPU. I have read that for additional cooling to have two side fans bringing in air into the case and mounting the PSU so the fan sits above the motherboard and helps push air out the rear of the case.

Now I will state that this person is not a hard core gamer and does not play the latest titles etc. so I do not believe the PC is ever going to be stressed.

It runs an MSI Gaming ACK miniITX with an i5-4690K cpu and an EVGA 970 card.

Currently the 80mm exhast fan is removed and was going to be replaced with a custom mounted 15mm 120mm fan which would either work as an intake or exhaust, depending on suggestions.

Is there anything wrong with the foundation of this setup using the PSU in this way? I have read online thats its doable and others say not too. The PSU chosen for this build was the Corsair TX550.

I appreciate peoples time looking and replying, thanks.
