I came back one evening to find my computer wouldnt turn on. no fans or anything. A bit of research and shorting a couple of pins which should turn it on have revealed its completely dead. Theres no smell of burning or anything so im very confused as to how it suddenly died

The PSU came in an Antec Sonata II bought around a year ago which puts it within warranty. Does anyone have experience with sending stuff back to them? im hoping they;ll replace just the PSU and not want me to send the ENTIRE case back  postage wont be cheap so im tempted to buy one of these earthwatts psu's and accept my loss.

thanks
