PSU busted or...?

Hi all

My psu fan recently stopped working. I was playing a game and suddenly my computer turned off. Now whenever I try and start my computer all I get is a weird hissing noise from the powersupply.

Is it dead?

Intel Pentium D 805
2gb ddr crucial ballistix
evga 650i ultra
evga 8800gts 320mb sc
250gb seagate barracuda sata
Hiper type M 530w psu

LOL i was thinking "Hiper" to myself before i even saw it, i had one that went kaputz, so did a lot of people.

Do you have another PSU you can try? but yes to me it sounds pretty dead
