Sorry if this isn't the right board for this.

I'm looking to make some custom cables for my Corsair CX600M and understand the process, but I'm trying to find a suitable crimping tool that doesn't cost a fortune.

Should any crimping tool work fine or do I really need a special ATX pin crimping tool?

Anyone else made their own PSU cables and have any advice?

Thanks

It would be quicker for sure, possibly cheaper, but those kits have 2 issues for me:

1. They have way more cables than I need - I just need the 24+8 ATX connectors and 8+8 PCI-e power cables.
2. I have a Bitfenix Prodigy case so not a lot of room for hiding excess cabling so would like to make them the length I need.
