Hello, I have some cables with my PSU which I cant figure out where to put them:

4/8 pin ATX12V/EPS12V Power connector
8 pin EPS12V Power connector
6/8 pin PCI Express connector
Floppy drive pwer connector
Peripheral power connector

those are the wires I have, I have a z77 extreme 4 mobo, HDD, GPU and optical drive and case fans

can anyone tell me where to put these wires?

does the below picture help?

Yes, but if I put the EPS 4/8 Pin cable in where you have, what do I do with the 8 pin EPS cable?

the only things I have in both the HDD and DVD drive are sata cables and serial ATA connector, is this correct?

I have a molex plug from the case, do I attach the molex plug from the PSU onto this?

Both don't need to be plugged in :) My motherboard for example has 2x 8pin EPS slots. Some has a single 4pin eps and some have an 8 pin. Plug in the one that fits and leave the other one :)

you should have 2 connections to your hard drives/ disk drives. the SATA power cable from the PSU and the SATA connector from the motherboard which are either red or black.

Yes. if the molex is being used to power somethings then plug it into a molex from the PSU. Fan controllers generally use Molex.

yes this is that board, what do you mean when it requires 1x8pin eps?

do you mean I use the 8pin eps instead of the 4/8 pin eps?

or there is somewhere else where the 8 pin eps needs to be?

also I have 1 floppy drive connector with multiple molex plugs on the cable, I presume I just do not use this cable?

Ignore the floppy connector. Just use the connections you need.

regarding the EPS cable. You have two options. Plug in the EPS cable which is a solid 8 pins or plug in the cable that is 2 x 4pins than when together make an 8pin. Personally i'd plug in the solid 8 pin as it's easier to plug in and unplug if needed :)

If you have read your mobo manual, you would have found the answers to these questions. Its amazing what you can learn form just reading yours manuals.
What Psu do you have?

OK sorry one more thing, I have 3 PCI-E cables, one has 6 slots and the other two have 8?

I have read the manual, I just want to check encase something goes wrong and its an xfx 650 core edition

You only have 1 EPS 12V cable, 4+4 pin EPS12V/ATX12V (620mm)
6 pin PCIe (580mm)x2
6+2 pin PCIe (580mm)x2

the cables I have left are:

6+2 pin PCIe (580mm)x2
6 pin PCIe (580mm)x1

unless the other 6 pin PCIe has not got it written on in white like the others
