as per the title, I've done many different online psu calculators for a idea of what size power supply I should be looking for but they all are coming out very different on their recommendations.
I understand these are more of a ish guide but they vary wildly.

so the spec I'm shopping for is my sig (my existing is too small for 2 cpu's), so far the results have been between 700-1100watts load on them, this then recommends 850w, 1000w, 1200w and a 1600w for my needs.

can anyone help or point in the direction of a decent ish calculator?

thanks

It wouldn't surprise me if that card (has 2x 8 pin power sockets) with that big overclock is pulling well over 300w on it's own. I would be looking at a 1200w psu as a minimum. Why a pair of 1080ti's though and not a better single card? I was under the impression that dual card gaming is being run down now and that a powerful single card is the way to go. Surely a 8600k will hold them back as well?

yep the card has 2x 8pin power sockets, I've been looking at 1200 or 1600 watt psu's most likely will go with the 1600 as I plan on moving to the 9900KS when its released (new Mobo to).
as for why I have two 1080ti's, I originally had just one, only got the second as I got it at a really good price and thought why not, as for being held back it shouldn't, even if it does im not to bothered as I have a cpu upgraded lined up when it released :) .
