As per title, rebuilding two of the kids pc's trying to use spares that I have.

One lads i3 build is to replace an old Q9550/Maximus II Gene/8gb DDR2 1033.

Wondering if the power supplies I have will be enough, they seem to be on the limit on the PSU calculators conclusions.

1st system.
Intel i3 4130
Gigabyte Z97 wifi mini itx
Patriot Viper DDR3 2x4gb 2400mhz
Noctua NH L9i cooler
240gb SSD
1tb HHD
DVD drive
Asus Cerberus 1050ti no pci-e cable needed
Silverstone TJ08B-E case
Noiseblocker 120 exhaust fan
Corsair VS350 psu

The 2nd system.
Intel i7 4770k
Gigabyte Z97 SOC
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2x8gb 2400mhz
CoolerMaster 240M Neptune
PNY 240gb SSD
PNY 960gb SSD
WD Green 1.5tb HDD
PowerColor RX 570 8gb
NZXT S350
2x 120mm exaust fans and an RGB controller and 30cm RGB led strip.
Corsair HX Pro 450w psu

The RX570 states a minimum 450w for the psu.

Any advice or opinions welcome.
Both are in progress but not set in stone, both will be on Windows 10.

Both were lightly to rarely used, the VS has just had occasional use quite literally. Probably a handful of times as i built a junk pc out of junk then junked parts.

It was noticed on a shelf in a high street retailer reduced to £15 years ago and bought for a spare.

The HX was from a HTPC back before we all streamed lol. Rarely used also. Both spent most of their time in storage.

I may use the 450w in the mini itx, there is a 630w bronze bequiet psu here too along with the bequiet advanced cooler. Both from the Q9550 build.
Also a CoolerMaster V series 1000w, but that will be replacing my 1st generation Seasonic X series 650w that was pre Haswel.

May look at a new psu. The 350w has been niggling me hence this post. Just not sure what to aim for.

To be honest, if buying a new PSU I would be looking at something to run my PC or my other lads 4770k/RX580 with the over provision to cover any future upgrade.

Would want fully modular, with the option of braided cables at some point. My lad loves orange.

Not sure how good the BeQuiet 630w is, or how past it my old Seasonic X-650 is though.

The 450w modular Corsair I have will go into the ITX.

So i guess at least as good as that X-650.
Corsair, EVGA, Seasonic, Superflower, I guess.

Think thats bad, few months back the Seasonic snow platinum was down to £99.99, amost half price, and I was going to buy it as a spare, but bought a couple of budget SSD instead

It still is, not at OcUK though. Available for preorder.

Not the end of life Seasonic Snow 1050w platinum?

Pretty sure that was the model at £99.99

Anyway, currently I will finish my eldest lads Mini ITX build with the HX Pro 450w psu.

My younger lad mentioned changing his AIO cooler to an air item.
We have a 630w bronze BeQuiet psu and BeQuiet Advanced cooler sitting spare from an old build, though cooler wont fit in my younger lads NZXT S340.

So will wait n see if he wants to change to a new case witg BeQuiet items.

Still wondering if its the pre Haswell Seasonic X-650 thats causing my pc to rarely go into C5 or reboot when I shut down. Been an occasional occurence since the system was built.
