Hi all,

I am looking at buying this system:

I will be running 3 hard drives off this as well in an Antec 300 with all 5 fan slots filled (and 1 on the cpu cooler).

Just wanted to check if my current PSU - an OCZ StealthXStream 600w will be ok, or should I upgrade this as well?

Thanks

If you have all the fan slots filled then you won't be able to connect all of them to the motherboard, which will control their speeds. This means that you will need to hook some up to the PSU, but this will run them at full speed all the time.

Unless you are using slow speed, quiet fans then a normal fan at full speed all the time will drive you nuts. Therefore I suggest getting a fan controller panel, so you can set the speed of these fans yourself.

As for the PSU - the 600W StealthXtreme should be fine for your needs. However, you may want to have a look at the 600W ModXtreme that is currently on offer for £56.

I would also suggest getting this slightly cheaper, better performing RAM instead.
