Hey Y'all!

Just wondering if i could get a little help determining what PSU to get. I've currently been using a Corsair HX520 for probably 3 years to power my:

[email protected]
Asus P5Q Pro
OCZ 8gb RAM (4x2gb)
Samsung 500gb HDD
WD 250gb HDD
ATI 4870 1gb

Now im looking to upgrade my graphics in the future and maybe purchase a 4870x2 and aim for tri-fire, and I know these cards leech a lot of power too. Also, looking to add Watercooling or something to that extent too.

Ive been looking at:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-193-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1103

As it provides enough 6 pin connectors to power both cards (Current 4870 1gb uses 2x6 pin connectors). I was wondering if there are any other modular PSU within that price range that also provides atleast 4x6 pin connectors and enough wattage for future upgrades.

Thanks :)

I own a coolermaster real power pro 850.
It's not noisy... but it is audible, which irritates me :o
Either way I don't think you can go far wrong with Corsair since OcUK recommend them too (for use with their overclocked bundles)

OcUK recommend a quality brand PSU for use with all our bundles such as the Corsair TX & HX range

Hope that helps!

*edit*
I guess since it says Silent Pro and the reviews seem to be consistent with that claim, my point is pretty invalid!)

Seems everyone is rating the corsair. Might have to have a look at it :). Im guessing 850w is more than enough. Im glad i aint getting 2x 4870x2! Such a power hog in terms to other cards.
