hey guys

just a quick question

im had a problem with my psu unit and i grabbed myself a new one as a temp psu till i build a new pc.

current setup

asus p5nd sli
intel c2duo q8200
4 gb kingston ram
1 sata hdd
msi gtx460 super oc
750 ezcool psu (yes i know its bad but its only a temp psu)

what im wondering is i have sorted out a build im going to buy but i cant afford a new psu just yet.

new build

asus p67 sabertooth
intel i5 2500k (going to oc this to about 4.4)
4gb corsair ram

will my ****** ezcool 750w psu(brand new) hold this for now?

thanks

I wouldn't want a potential fire hazard like that in my pc. Skimping on a PSU is never a good idea. That unit may be rated at 750W but I doubt it can provide that power without going out of spec and potentially causing component damage.

just what i was thinking, i only got it as a temp but now im gna wait and save up to get a decent psu.

any sugestions? (dont want anything too overkill)

Antec HCG 620W is more than enough for any single GPU system, XFX 650 is almost the same but sometimes cheaper. both could handle your system with SLI 460s if you added another, or with a higher end card if you changed it.
I wouldn't recommend an OCZ unless you bought the ZS or Z series.
