PSU choice

Given the choice, would you go for a 750Watt corsair PSU brand new for £73 or a Tagan BZ 800 modular second hand for around £85.

I know the Corsairs are very popular and Tagans are held in pretty high regard.

Just want some other opinions, pros and cons.

I would go for the new corsair. At least you'll have the proper warranty in place

Depends on the history of the Tagan but it's a better PSU I think. Price needs some negotiation though...

You can get a modular corsair 620W i used to have the 650W and I dont see a difference between them.

Corsair isn't modular no, it's the one on offer at OcUK.

And no, I don't need anywhere near 800 Watts

I got mine from a competitor for £90 but even there its gone up now. :confused:

Found it for about £98, more than I want to pay though.

I'm sure mine was about £70 when I got it something like 2 years ago.
