I am considering my upgrade and I am concerned about my PSU. I have two PSU's running my system. The Main PSu is an Antec True550P and the second is an Antec True380SP. The motherboard is an Asus P4c800-E which is a socket 478 mobo with a P4 3Ghz HT processor. The second PSU powers my 6 hard drives and 2 DVD's while the main PSU powers everything else.

The question I have is will the connectors on the PSU which attach to the mobo still work on the new Asus Maximus Formula SE?
I am trying to avoid the additional cost of buying a new PSU - although ultimatly i will buy a single quieter PSU.

Thanks in advance.

You are right, I bought the second PSU when I found the first was not sufficient. (i can't remember if the first was the the 380w or 550w!)

How do I find out if it is ATX2.0 compliant?

It should say on the label but other than that you can check to see if it has a 24pin motherboard connector, PCI-E connectors (six pins in a 2x3 arrangement, normally black) and SATA connectors (small thin flat connectors, again normally black) then it probably is ATX 2.0 compliant. :)
