Hello world,

Just found this cheecky little kit, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp... Ryan Morf SE PSU Modding Kit - Black (MF2209)
generaly what the issue is i bought the below psuhttp://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-016-OK
however this is not compatible with the mother board i bought. the main 20 pinn conector fits however the little 4pin conector is a different configuration from what is on my board so effectivley does not slot in,

Would the above kit allow me to change this as the psu i have just now is rubbish and would prefer to use the original.

The 4pin mobo connecter will only be the same configuration, so its probably a 4 pin PCI-E power connector you have, in which case it will not work.

There should be 2 plugs for the Mobo. The 20+4 (Which can only be used alongside the 20pin power to make a 24pin plug) and a seperate 4 pin known as the P4 connector. Im guessing youare trying to use the 4pin add-on for the wrong job.

I Know the connector for the pci-e i was reading the manual as i set it up. the connectors were all different colours and were specific to where it goes. they wer also labeled so i deffinetley had the right ones what i mean is if you look at the conector it has 2 full squares and two dome shape conectors making the 4 pin but on the mobo it is in a different configuration to that
