Comments on mounting these the right way at thr bottom of the case eg fan facing down. In the antec we talking maybe 2-3mm off the base of the case and will maybe taking a 120mm hole saw to the bottom of the case under the fan make any diff

What spec is your going to be for your I7 build, I'm just thinking they are a bit overkill unless your running 2 4870x2 or Nvidia 295's.

The PSU draws air from the case and discharges out the back :)

The plan is stick with GTX280 for another 4 months then go for 2 GTX295 then add some water. Wanted to add the psu now so i can cable neat for now and have room ro expand. regarding the psu fan i thought they blow air...so mine facing up is acting as an intake then throwing it out the back is that right?

I've got the 1200 with a Zalman 1000 watt PSU with the fan pointing upwards. Personally I find this useful as one of my 9800GTX+ has quite a useless cooling solution and therefore the PSU draws out it's hot air and blows it out of the case. All good.
