I've recently bought a thermal take tough power gf1 750w power supply, and I'm now looking at motherboards.

My issue is the motherboards I'm looking at, all seem to have 8+8 or 8+4 cpu connectors.

The thermal take only has an 8 pin (4+4) cpu supply.

Is there adaptors to purchase or anything?

It seems crazy to think that such a powerful PSU doesn't have more than the 8 pin connector.

I'm not 100% certain, but it looks like it has 3 x 8 pin slots that is useable. But this would have course eat into your PCIe power (for GPU) connections too. If you need more from the same maker, then you'd have needed to get the 1000W model for 5 x 8 pin slots that can be used for motherboard/CPU or the GPU.

Ok thanks, soni should look to get the MSI board with 2x 8 pin power supplies and then just have one less pcie power slot.

I don't really need much more, only thing I'll have plugged in is an rx6800xt
