Hi, I have a 600w OCZ PSU that ive had since 2007. It seemed to be working fine until last night. The following day I went to turn on the system and the blue leds of the case lit up but were flickering and the cpu and case fans started spinning but my monitor wasn't recieving any signal. After checking cables I had a look inside the case and my gfx card fan wasn't spinning, I tried re-seating it etc to no avail. I tried another gfx card that is running fine in another system and that also wouldn't work.

Lastly I tried a 400w Corsair PSU from my other computer and the fans on both gfx cards work and the computer boots fine.

I don't know much about PSU's - could the rail that feeds the gfx card have died?

Well i'm planning to get a new computer at some point - will most likely buy a bundle of mobo/ram/cpu from overclockers as this current computer is knocking on a bit now, so I want to get a reasonable one so that I don't then have to buy yet another PSU when I do get round to it.

Saying that though I don't intend to run 2 gfx cards at the same time so I also don't need a powerhouse. If I could be pointed to a reliable best bang for the buck PSU for around £40-£70 I would grateful :)
