Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850 V2.Brought in feb 2011.
To cut a long story short..

I was watching a youtube clip when PC shutdown!
Checked everything was seated correctly. Yes.
Now the case fans work. Vga fans work. But no lights on MB. Asrock extreme 6.
Cpu cooler fans. Not.
Newish build 1 month old.
Too tired from work to do anything tonight, looking for Ideas. No spare PSU.
Cheers

If the case and vga fans are working I would suspect the motherboard is the culprit, as I expect they receive their power direct from the PSU leads (assuming VGA fan takes power from PSU power port circuits rather than motherboard slot). You could test the PSU using the paperclip method others on here will have more experience of than me.

If the fans etc.. are powering up then the paperclip method won't really prove much as we know the PSU is powering up.

It could still be the PSU, iirc the motherboard will need 12,5 & 3.3v to start up, it could be the 5 or even 3.3v. It could also be the motherboard or CPU, but I'd be looking at the PSU first.

Thanks Guys, had a bad experince in 2008 whereas my pc died but saw a light on the MB. So brought a new system (parts) only to find out later it was the PSU! Will check for a cheapo PSU tomorrow as I have a 5yr Warranty with Cosair.

You are not going to believe this. Brought cheapo PSU. open the case to check, then I saw that the USB3 header look odd. Not seated. I pushed it back in. My other hand it the power button and PC started fine. How this got unseated is an Xfile.
