I put the question mark because I'm not 100% sure if it's the PSU.
I recently tried putting a new PCI card (wireless adapter) in to my PC and once I got through the install I received a "error code 10 (this device cannot start)".
Now this to me would just seem like an annoyance, but then my soundcard started to lag out the system (after taking the soundcard out the system was fine...).
Now my friend has just about the same rig as me except other than he has a faster CPU, Deluxe instead of SE A8N-SLi mobo, slightly better RAM and an Enermax 600w PSU while I have a crappy no-name 650w PSU.
His soundcard works in his PC, but not mine (lag again). The wireless adapter works in his PC too.
Now I'm only not 100% sure because the last time my PSU died the CPU was the first to suffer until it was down-clocked so far it was pretty pointless even running the PC and then the PC ceased to boot at all.
So any thoughts? I'm just not in a place to spend lots of £££s so it'd be nice to make sure first
