Hi All,
I have recently upgraded my system cooling to watercooling and everything is working great. My only issue is sometimes after my PC has been on for say 5+ hours with an hour or 2 of gaming and some general web browsing youtube/facebook etc, when i come to shutdown my pc everything closes down correctly and shuts down but my pc still keeps all the fans/waterpump and lighting on. Only way to stop this is to either hold in the power button several seconds or to flick the switch on my PSU. On startup after this has occured, windows boots perfectly without any errors.
PC SPECS ARE IN MY SIG (The system is currently running stock, no overclocking)
This only ever occurs when my pc has been on for a long time. I have performed the following as a means of trying to trouble shoot the problem:
It's something that is hard to test if its still occuring at it only happens after the system has been on for hours, i mean its not causing me any grief as my pc is operating flawlessly its just a little annoying when it doesnt shut off.
The only possible thing i think that may be causing this problem due to it only occuring after the system has been on for a long time is that the Mosfet heatsinks are not getting a lot of airflow as i was previously running a side panel with 4x 120mm fans on it, now its just a plexi window. CPU and GPU temperatures are well below the maximums due to the watercooling, temperatures system wide are pretty much the same interms of ambient case temperature but there are increases at full load in comparison to prior the water cooling upgrade of around 5-10 degrees on the NB (~40c) and SB (~65c-70c).
Any help or suggestions are much appreciated! If more information is required just ask.
Cheers.

- Re-Flashed the Bios to latest version (1301) and set optimized defaults (No Overclocking)
- Booted system with only mouse and keyboard to see if any other devices were causing issues (USB Creative Soundcard, front panel ports, webcam)
- Re-installed windows
- Swapping the RAM around.
- Any form of sleep or hibanate within windows has been disabled.
