Hi, my current psu seems to be on its way out, its not branded and has been playing up for a while now.

i am wondering if this psu will be enough to power my system as i am on a tight budget

My build is:

Asus m4a785td-v evo mobo
Amd 550be am3 cpu unlocked to quadcore
Ati hd 5750 512mb
3gb ddr3 ram
2 sata hardrives
and the fans in the antec 900 case (3x120mm and 1 200m)

so, would the psu be ok for this system?
thanks

Yep. You could probably (at a push) run a 460 on that.

And as ATI 5*** are really low on power you'll be fine.

Im confused with one thing though, my mobo takes a four pin atx12v connection and this psu says it has a 4+4pin ATX12v connector, is this a problem or does that mean there are 2 4pin cables that you can use seperately or connect together for an 8pin?

anybody know the answer to what i posted above? sorry for the impatience but really need to know as i want to order it for next day delivery and havnt got long to order, cheers :)

Yeah its basically a 4 and then another 4. Some mobos will take all 8 and some (usually mATX) only need 4. If you only need 4 then you just don't plug the other 4 in
