Hello!

Recently bought some parts and now I'm just curious as to what PSU, if not the Corsair TX 750 I've purchased, would be required to support the following setup:

Core i7 920 @ 3.6Ghz (if I get it that far)
Asus P6T Deluxe
6GB DDR3 RAM
Noctua NH-U12F
2 x Radeon HD 4870
2 x PCI cards (Sound Blaster X-Fi, Hauppauge PVR 150)
1 x PCI-E card (Wifi)
3 x SATA HDD
2 x DVD-RW
5 x fans (2 x 92mm, 2 x 120mm, 1 x 120mm LED)

I only use one HD 4870 at the moment so I'm not worried. Its more a case of what situation I'd be in should I choose to get a second in the future as opposed to a new card.

Agreed the 750 is fine.

your system will be around 200w idel and 375w when gaming with a single 4870.
So a 750 is spot on 50% (peak effeciencey) if you game most of the time.

With a second card in Cfire should be around 450w at the wall

Cheers guys.

I'd been using an online calculator to give me an indication of the answer and eventually realised I'd been entering some information incorrectly to give me ridiculous numbers which had left to my enquiry.

Much appreciated.
