Hi all.

So just had a power tester arrive today. (Luckily it's got tonnes of cosmetic damage so I can send it back. Yay!

Well anyway so after using it my PSU is showing up errors, 4pin, 6pin and 8pin are working fine.

But the SATA are showing up errors with low voltage (All of them not just one or two)

I'm having issues trying to power on my PC sometimes not even getting past the motherboard start up crashing instantly.

So I don't think this is a PSU issue as it would impact my hard drives and the mobo doesn't even get through the bios start up.

Will this cause a lot of problems.

Also if I was to get a new PSU and the mobo is damaged will the damaged mobo harm the PSU?

I don't like idea of getting something a new PSU with the possibility that my old stuff would damage it.

That's not an option none of my friends in London has a gaming PC, well one does, but it's a pre-built so it's not fair on him for me to void his warranty when it's my problem.

I have no issue with getting a new PSU (been wanting a modular one for a while)

I'm more concerned it a damaged mobo would damage a new PSU (i'm not sure what the issue is yet i'm assuming it's the mobo)

It's possibility, i guess.

I have just managed to get into my Bios and after around 30 seconds the temperature monitor is showing the PSU at 95 degrees.

I expect this is more likely to be errors on the Mobo though.

Edit ow 108 degrees and in the red, after about 1min
