PSU Extension cables - Silverstone

Anyone know if you can just plug this cable straight into the psu without using it as an actual extension?

I assume the pinout would be the same for all Silverstone Decathlon DA PSU's

Nvm, figured it doesn't fit. Only fits Strider series psu's! Gutted!

strange dont see why it wouldnt fit... just psu to gpu, no?

Connectors the wrong shape, my decathlon DA850 and the Strider connectors are different. Even though on silverstones website it says it should fit all modular psu's from 2009 onwards.

Ahhhh that makes sense then. Naughty though... If you can be bothered I'd state your findings. More so to save confusion for others than anything. You'd expect their site to be correct
