PSU failing?

Installed my 7850 card today (to replace my ageing 260gtx), all seemed well at first. Played Fallout New Vegas with everything on max settings for 30mins or so with it not going below 60 fps (vsync on).

Then I was just browsing the forums and my screen went black with feint grey lines down it... nothing responded. I reset the machine and checked the card was seated correctly along with the DVI cable and hoped it was a one off. It's done it a few times now though, even when just browing the internet. It did it once after a restart with 30 secs or so.

Temps are absolutely fine. Could it be my PSU failing? I've read a few threads that say a 30a 400w PSU should be fine as it's superior to a unknown brand 500w PSU that ATI recommends.

If you think the PSU isn't sufficient, which brands should I stick to? OCUK has loads of different brands.

Thankyou for the replies but I seem to have found the problem (hopefully). I majorly underclocked my CPU and still had the same problem. This would definately be less demanding than my last setup so I very much doubt it's the PSU. I've found a lot of threads detailing the same problem and apparantly it's a driver issue.

There is one thread on it on these forums http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18423425&highlight=7850+crashing

I've rolled back to the 12.4 drivers, hopefully it'll do the trick
