Hi all, done a lot of googling on this issue but not really found an answer.

I've recently bought a Strix 3080 and ever since i fitted it to my system my PSU fan spins up to 100% when the GPU is under load.
Initally i thought it was the GPU fans but upon further investigation it was coming from the PSU. It's really audiable and quite irritating, can hear
it through my headset.
My PSU is a Corsair CX750M.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve got 2 separate cables feeding the 3 ports on the GPU so one cable I’m using both the ends if that makes sense?

Yeah that was the assumption I came up with. So a decent quality 850W PSU and I should be fine?
