So Just recently my PSU fan has started making a noise when it reaches High speeds (I think the bearing has worn out) it's not constant but I'm assuming it will get worse down the line. And was hoping to get some advice from you guys.

It is a "Powercool PC750"

My PC has a 3 year warrenty from the people who built it for me do you think they would replace the fan/powersupply?

Should I just go out and get a new fan? (I assume its a 200m fan?)

Or Should I just go and get a new PSU any good ones for around £50-£80?

Thanks for the help.

Remove the link to a competitor site.

I would send the computer back if it is still under warranty, but get them to replace the PSU with a decent make / model.

Don't open the PSU and play around with the insides. It can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing as the capacitors can still hold a large charge.

I've gone for modular, but non-modular versions are available. 500-550w will be more than enough for your rig, but if you plan to SLI/xFire, don't go below 750w.
