PSU Fan up or down?

Sorry about another PSU thread, if fitting one where it goes in the bottom of the case, does the fan face up or down?

Depends on the case. If it has a hole or a space in the bottom of the case, Then you can face it downwards. Any other time, Face it upwards.

Im not sure what she's got, a coolermaster one of some description i think.

The lady lives 300 miles away, so i cant pop round and check, i will pass what you said on.

I mounted mine fan up in my Antec P183 simply because the clearance between case base and PSU may have created turbulence and therefore noise.

I don't think it makes that much difference really performance wise, although aesthetically the cables are further away from you when mounted downwards.
