Just ordered a Coolermaster CM-690 II Lite case that has the PSU installed at the bottom. I've seen pics where people have the PSU fan facing up blowing into the case, but wouldn't it better to have it facing down? Seems to be plenty of clearance underneath the case.

I have experienced both up and down, firstly I had the PSU with the fan facing down and at the bottom of the PC case, it got very dusty, so I have since swapped it around and have it facing in. Seems to be better that way :)

had mine facing up till I rma'd my mobo, when I did my refit I put it facing down. now my cpu is about 2 oC warmer. Dunno if this is just a coincidence

If the CM690 II lite has dust filters on bottom of case like the Advanced version, then I'd have the fan facing downwards.

Theres a filter supplied in the box of bits, place this over the holes in the bottom and sit the PSU facing downwards.

Down if you can.

With a dust filter it's not a problem, and from looking at the dust that gets on my PSU filter compared to what gets into my case, it's going to have a longer life facing down... :D
