Hello,

I recently built my new system, I have a EVGA Supernova G2 850w. The fan never seems to spin? it does 1 rotation if that when I boot the computer up other than that it stays still.

Is this an issue or just good performance not requiring the fan to be used?

Its not using enough power to heat up enough to need the fan.. :)

Be thankful. :)

Nothing wrong atall, just awesome deisgn on EVGA's (superflower) part.

The power supply is semi passive, this mean the fan will only spin if the psu reach 45 degree. At the backsite of the psu is a switch called ECO mode, if you do not want to use the feature you can switch it off then it will always spin.

This is depending on your setup. You can test this by running half an hour heaven or any other demanding benchmark, monitoring temps then let the system cool down and run the same test again with the ECO mode off...
