PC Setup:

6800 Ultra AGP
Athlon 64bit 3600+
2gig ddr

I had a 65o watt generic PSU powering this and everything worked fine until the PSU gave out, I replaced the PSU with a Arctic Power 600W PSU and now the graphics and sound stutter constantly from booting to windows onwards. Any advice greatly recieved.

That about 250-300W junk might have damaged some parts...
(although if problems start at certain point during loading of Windows it could be also drivers)

Also your new PSU is plain junk at best with prehistoric design, over the specs ripple etc.
But as good thing your components probably don't draw more than 150W.

Probably what I get for buying cheap. Why would it stutter in sound and video if there is enough power to run my components? That's what was confusing me.
